Hi Pleun: I detect some budding Blood Root? Where did you find it as it has not appeared around here yet. I was not ready for the snow cover this morning. This is not what I hoped to wake up to on April 23rd. I know better days are coming but its been a long time in happening.

Beautiful pics! Another sign of spring: our pond in back has Wood Frog egg masses and a bunch of Spotted Salamander spermatophores (females pick up sperm there and later lay their egg masses.
