August 22 @ 7:00 pm - 8:30 pm

The front cover of AgathaOs January 2024 book, Northern Byways and Other Essays From Fhe Road. It shows the title and author, and a view from a car driving up a bridge, following a truck.

Historian and photographer AgathaO (aka historian Pleun Bouricius) reads from her new collection of essays, Northern Byways and Other Essays From The Road, a travelogue exploring the landscape across the Northern United States and Canada, featuring a couple traveling and camping across both countries in their aging Toyota Tacoma. As one commentator put it, ”You learn a lot about how our world is made. AgathaO not only brings you along in the cab of their heap, squabbles and all, but casually pokes holes into the credibility of the scenery zipping by through the windshield.”  The author will sign copies of this and her other books. All are welcome.
