Your eye for design is exceptional. The photos in this selection are some of my favorites of all that you’ve shared. And I thoroughly enjoyed your essay….. Do I detect a desire to replicate the colors from the orange flowers with their blue-green stems against the blue sky on the front of your house?

Thank you! I have not been keeping it up much after got stuck in an essay — but I hope that it’s coming back now. Only thing I wish is that paying attention to fireflies also means that mosquitoes are paying attention to me.

A very thought-provoking essay and beautiful photography. I noticed the fireflies enjoying the new moisture last night, too. If everyone stopped to notice the fireflies, the world would be a better place. The carpenter is a lucky guy. Thank you – keep up the good work.
