Just as we returned from our morning walk I heard this enormous honk,honk sound and there they were. I never thought we were under a flyway,but there had to be 150 or more and they seemed to be changing ranks as they flew out of V’s and back again. Funny because just the day before I was thinking of roast duck,not the protected ones of course.
I have taken down the bird feeders for the season and now just throw seed on the ground.
